Queen Size Sheets
Wonderfully comfortable queen bed sheets make a huge
difference.
The majority of people here in the United States sleep on a
queen size mattress. Like Goldilocks said, it's not too
big, it's not too small, it's just right. It comfortably
sleeps two people or gives one person all the room they could
want.
Another really great thing about having a queen sized
mattress is you will also have the largest selection of
queen size
sheets to choose from.
Since the queen size mattress is the most popular mattress
size, then it only makes sense that designers and stores will
have the largest selection of sheets in their queen size
section.
And having a large selection to choose from is always a nice
thing. You don't have to worry about not being able to
find the right color or the right thread count.
You won't have to bother driving all over the place in hopes
of finding queen size sheets since all stores carry a very
large selection.
You won't have to settle for a pattern or a design that
you're not really bananas about since you'll have a myriad of
options to choose from.
And you won't have to spend a fortune on a set sheets (due
to their popularity) thus allowing you to purchase a couple
different sets (if you choose) giving your bedroom a fun little
facelift every couple of weeks.
There's no set of sheets that are so beautiful that one
wouldn't get bored looking at them (and sleeping in them) week
in and week out.
Variety is the spice of life after all. When shopping for
sheets the higher the thread count the better (more
comfortable) the sheet.
Of course this also usually leads to a higher price on the
sheet set. After all, you do get what you pay for.
Poorer quality sheets will obviously be less expensive than
higher quality sheets.
That's how it usually is in regards to most products.
Higher thread count sheets will wear better (thus longer) and
in the long run actually save you money, so it's a very good
idea to try to find the queen size sheets that have a high
thread count.
And what IS a high thread count? Well, you should
definitely try to stay above 300 thread count, and you'll find
some gorgeous and cozy sheets in the 800-1000
range.
It really does make a difference, and since we spend a lot
of time in bed shouldn't it be extra comfortable?
Yes!
